Simulation and 3D Modeling

With open source available designs Armad uses its research, parametric designing of diffusers and panels and other tools to design products that can be made in house. Rather than selling products, Armad works with the client to use unique acoustic calculations from binary amplitude to QRD diffuser designs that can be incorporated in your venue which saves cost, expensive product purchases and most of all shipping. However, there is always a need for tested products for certain applications such as the need for parametric(equalization) acoustics, absorbing certain frequencies and Armad can source high quality acoustic products for the specific requirements. Simulations provide us precise modeling of panels and diffusers which allow us to design unique and specific type of diffusers to achieve the objective of the space and discussing the differences between in house design and purchasing products is part of the process.

Room-acoustic modeling with the tuning of absorption in the software and reverberation time taken from the initially measured room can calculate metrics like clarity, speech intelligibility and ISO 3382 parameters. Many of these metrics can also be simulated wIthout a measurement. However, Armad aims to measure the space to support accurate simulation which helps decide on the amount of absorption needed and exactly where to strategically place them, modeling the reverberant behavior and reflections. It supports acoustic solution design elements with inputted information and provides a proposed end result. Most importantly, it helps to design solutions in one go, saving time rather than taking decisions step by step.
